A recent survey conducted by SellCell sheds light on the brand loyalty of smartphone owners in the United States. It reveals that Apple iPhone users are much more loyal to the brand than Samsung and Pixel fans.
According to the study, customer loyalty to iPhones stands at 92%, an increase from 90.5% in 2019. In contrast, Samsung devices saw an 11.7% drop in loyalty. and reached 74% in 2021 compared to 85.7% in 2019. Notably, it was found that 26% of users of a Samsung product switch to another brand when upgrading, 53% of them choosing the iPhones.
Outside of Samsung, Pixel brand loyalty has taken a hit. The company saw a decline of 18.8%, from 84% in 2019 to 65.2% in 2021. The brands that have had the least customer loyalty are LG and Motorola with 37.4% and 29 respectively. %.
The survey was conducted over a week, from March 3 to 10. It has involved more than 5,000 smartphone users over the age of 18. Among the attendees were 2,000 iPhone users, 2,000 Samsung Galaxy users, 400 Google Pixel users, 300 LG smartphone users and 300 Motorola smartphone users.

SellCell also asked participants to choose their favourite smartphones and here are the results:
